Men's Open Division Preview

Men's Open features 11 schools with previous open or national tournament experience. 5 schools will compete in the open tournament for the first time.

Pool A features the defending open champions Cal Poly "B". They open the tournament versus newcomer Northern Arizona. UC Irvine returns to the open tournament after last making it in 2009 and will play Penn, a championship consolation quarterfinalist last year.

Pool B features USC who last played in the 2009 open division taking on Kennesaw State another newcomer to the open tournament. SUNY Cortland, 2010 open participant, will take on newcomer Northeastern.

Pool C has 2009 Open finalist San Diego State. They will take on 2010 open participant Villanova. 2010 open quarterfinalist Colorado "Black" will take on newcomer UC Santa Cruz.

Pool D has 2010 championship consolation finalist UCLA taking on championship consolation quarterfinalist Colorado School of Mines. Open semifinalist Texas "B" takes on newcomer UC San Diego.

This year's open field seems more wide open. Can Cal Poly "B" win again?
